Mason Mount is set to get a scan for suspected thigh injury, The Athletic report. The midfielder has missed a training session today.
The Englishman is expected to be fit for the Aston Villa game as the scan is a 'precaution' at the moment.
The 23-year-old has made 12 appearances across all competitions for Chelsea so far this season. He was taken off at half-time in a 2-0 win against Milan earlier this week.
Speaking after the game, Graham Potter explained he made the substitution because Mase has 'played a lot of football' recently.
