Real Madrid are the only Spanish side left in the Champions League. It means that they will not have to divide the market share for the Spanish TV money that they receive from UEFA.
Just to remind you, Sevilla dropped into the Europa League. The cross-city rivals Atletico Madrid failed to beat Bayer on Wednesday and thus also sealed their own exit from the competition.
Barcelona came away with just one win from their five UCL games so far, meaning they slip into the Europa League too.
According to Marca, it results in Real Madrid earning at least an extra €8.6 million. That sum can go up to €11.7m, should Real Madrid make the final.
