Erik ten Hag has confirmed Anthony Martial is not fit to face Chelsea this weekend.
The French striker remains out with an injury, having missed the incredible 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur as well.
In his press conference, Ten Hag explained: "Martial? He was on the [training] pitch, but he's not available for tomorrow. We have to see how it develops in the coming days."
Despite an impressive pre-season, Martial has struggled to keep himself fit throughout 2022/23 so far.
There is no timeline on when he could possibly return. And with Cristiano Ronaldo dropped from the squad, Ten Hag is likely to play Marcus Rashford as a striker once again.
