Xavi had an immediate meeting with Joan Laporta and other Barcelona officials at the Mestalla following the win against Valencia. Xavi revealed the message transmitted to him by the officials.
"Joan Laporta told me that these three points are very important and that goals in the last minutes are crucial," the coach said.
"The president is very happy with the result, we needed to win."
After the Valencia win, Barcelona sit first in the league. However, Real Madrid sin on the same points but have one game in hand.
