Arsenal are yet to begin contract extension talks with Reiss Nelson, as per The Athletic’s David Ornstein.
The journalist adds that it’s impossible to say what happens with the winger at the Emirates Stadium.
However, Mikel Arteta was impressed with Nelson’s performances in training.
That is why he decided to keep the winger in his squad this season rather than sell him in the summer – knowing his contract expires next year.
Arteta could give more game-time to Nelson after watching his heroics against Nottingham Forest.
