Erik ten Hag punished Alejandro Garnacho for breaking his rules multiple times during Man United’s pre-season tour.
As per the Daily Mail, the Argentine winger turned up late for team meetings on two occasions.
Ten Hag is very strict with his rules and did not start the youngster for any of the matches in pre-season.
However, Garnacho improved his discipline and attitude as the season went on – winning over the gaffer.
That’s why Ten Hag has started the winger in the last two Europa League games and he’s in line to get more minutes in the Premier League.
Garnacho scored his first-ever goal for United in the win over Real Sociedad, becoming the youngest non-English goalscorer for the club in a major European competition.
