A huge blow for all the France and Real Madrid fans as Karim Benzema has been ruled out of the World Cup.
The striker has suffered an injury during training on Saturday evening - examinations confirmed a tear in player's left thigh, too serious for the 34-year-old to continue in Qatar.
Didier Deschamps has until Monday evening to call up a replacement. Martin Terrier, Wissam Ben Yedder or Moussa Diaby could take his spot.
