Emiliano Martinez was one of Argentina's best players at the Qatar 2022 World Cup and rightfully was rewarded with the best goalkeeper award. He turned up at important moments for Argentina during the World Cup.

He saved spot kicks in the shootouts against Netherlands in the quarter-final as well as against France in the final.

The most important save he made was against Randal Kolo Muani. The France forward went one on one with Martinez with 20 seconds left on the clock, but Martinez opened his body and made the greatest save of all time as described by Daily Star.

The Aston Villa goalkeeper has now tattooed the exact spot on his leg with which he made the save with a picture of the World Cup trophy.

Dibu, as he is fondly referred to, was an instrumental member of La Albiceleste team that won the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

His 123rd minute save took the match to penalties. It proved important as Argentina won on penalties where Martinez saved twice again from Aurelien Tchouameni and Kingsley Coman.

The former Arsenal man linked up with Argentine tattoo artist Juan Skunca to have the World Cup tattoo, along with the caption ''que la pasiĆ³n te lleve a la gloria'' which translates to "may passion lead you to glory" in English.
