The English FA earlier confirmed that Raheem Sterling had left the squad to attend to his personal matters.
As per Abka Fitz-Henley, armed attackers allegedly broke into Sterling's London house and stole valuables.
His relatives were said to be inside the house at the time and are shaken up by the incident.
A major investigation is underway.
