According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea will face Brentford at their training base at Cobham behind closed doors.
The game will take place next Tuesday, December 20, one week before the Blues' season resumes with a visit to Bournemouth.
This will be the second and likely the last Chelsea game during the World Cup break after a 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.
All Chelsea players should be at Graham Potter's disposal by that point - except Mateo Kovacic and Hakim Ziyech whose countries will be involved in the World Cup until the final days.
