Jose Mourinho unexpectedly took over the vacant managerial position at AS Roma ahead of the delayed Euro 2021. He replaced fellow Portuguese manager Paulo Fonseca.
He broke the club's 14 years trophy drought in his first season by lifting the inaugural UEFA Europa Conference League, beating Feyenoord 1-0 in the final, thus becoming the first manager to have lifted all three European club competitions.
In his second season at the Italian capital, he is now attracting offers from his home country Portugal to take the vacant managerial role after Fernando Santos was sacked due to the World Cup outing.
The role is being offered to Mourinho on part time and according to The Telegraph he is considering answering the call of his country but unsure whether to quit Roma.
It is not the first time Mourinho is being linked to a national team managerial job, having being linked to Portugal and England in the past.
