Messi, Jorginho & more: 18 players with expiring contracts that Barca are reportedly following

In January, Barcelona can enter negotiations with the players whose contracts expire at the end of the season. According to Diario Sport's Albert Briva (4 stars), there are at least 18 players on the Catalans' radar.

Defenders: Inigo Martinez, Diogo Dalot, Luke Shaw, Alejandro Grimaldo, and Raphael Guerreiro.

Midfielders: Jorginho, Ilkay Gundogan, N'Golo Kante, Houssem Aouar, Adrien Rabiot, Fred, and Youri Tielemans.

Forwards: Lionel Messi, Youssoufa Moukoko, Marcus Rashford, Marco Asensio, Marcus Thuram, and Roberto Firmino.

Jorginho, Moukoko, Inigo Martinez and Dalot are said to be the likeliest players to move to Camp Nou in the summer. Barca have already had contacts with the first three. As for Dalot, it is not excluded that he continues at Manchester United.

Gundogan is also an important name on the list because Xavi sees him as a good replacement for Sergio Busquets who is expected to leave. As for the other midfielders on the list, the arrival of one of them will be considered only if Franck Kessie is sold.

Finally, the attack is not a priority for Barca, so the signing of Rashford, Asensio, Thuram or Firmino is seen as unlikely. As for Messi, Jordi Cruyff has already suggested that it will be very difficult to pull off.
