N'Golo Kante 'pushing' to have pre-agreement with Barcelona in January

According to Catalan media oiutlet Diario Sport, N'Golo Kante is in a hurry to ensure his future as his contract expires next summer.

The Frenchman is reportedly in advanced talks with Barcelona, but he is pushing to have a 'pre-argeement' ready in January.

So far, however, Barcelona have not made a 100 per cent decision over whether Kante is the player they need. They may not have many alternatives, however, unless a major sale happens next summer.

As for Chelsea, they have failed to reach an agreement over a new contract with Kante. The Blues are reluctant to offer him a long-term deal because of concernsover his age and injury record.
