Barca send clear message to Raphinha over his future in meeting with agent

Barcelona have met Deco, Raphinha's agent, to talk about the winger's future, Diario Sport's Lluis Miguelsanz reports.

The club told Raphinha's representatives that their expectations have not been met and want him to improve in the second part of the season, especially when it comes to his goal contributions. However, Barca does understand that the 25-year-old needs an adaptation period.

If the Catalans do not see any sign of improvement, they could sell Raphinha next summer. They believe that there will be many clubs interested in the Brazilian and it will be possible to recover the €58m spent last summer.

As for Raphinha, his priority is to continue at Camp Nou but will accept any decision from the club.

This term so far, the forward has recorded 4 goals and 7 assists in 25 matches (14 starts).
