Camavinga 9, Vinicius 5: rating Real Madrid players in Atletico win

Eduardo Camavinga - 9

The youngster was absolutely incredible tonight. Camavinga did a solid job in midfield and was then shifted to left-back. Despite not being his natural position, Eduardo looked great both in defence and attack, making overlapping runs and contributing with his creativity.

The key point of the game was Savic's red card, with the centre-back being sent off after a foul on Camavinga.

Eder Militao - 8.5

Militao was rock-solid in defence as he managed to stop attacks from Memphis, Griezmann and Carrasco all on his own. The Real Madrid centre-back won most of his duels and was incredible on the ball as well.

Rodrygo - 8.5

The win would've been impossible without Rodrygo's amazing solo goal. The Brazilian's substitution instantly made our attacks more dangerous as he offered Madrid more options thanks to his dribbling, passes and runs into the box.

It's a shame that he couldn't finish the game due to injury.

Vinicius Junior - 4

Vini scored a great goal in the last minute to seal the match... That aside, the winger had a terrible night. The Brazilian had two great chances to score but he choked after taking too much time to decide.

Also, Atletico Madrid managed to open the score because Vini didn't track back and let Molina freely run into the box and make the assist.

Nacho - 4

While okay defensively (except for the goal when he left Morata alone at the far post), Nacho simply doesn't offer enough going forward. The right-back lost possession 19 times tonight and completed just 1/6 crosses.

Others: Courtois 8, Rudiger 6.5, Mendy 5.5, Ceballos 7, Modric 6.5, Kroos 6, Valverde 5, Benzema 8, Asensio 6.5, Odriozola n/a, Martin n/a.
