Chelsea set to increase Moises Caicedo transfer offer after £55m bid turned down
According to reports from Mirror UK, Chelsea will return this week with an improved offer of £65m, hoping it would tempt the South Coast club to part ways with their player.
Ecuadorian defensive midfielder Moises Caicedo is the target after failing to agree a move for Argentina midfielder Enzo Fernandez from Benfica. Chelsea have tested Brighton's resolve with £55m which was rejected .
Chelsea's are yet to cover the defensive midfielder and right back which are two positions that need addressing this January regardless of how much has been spent.
After their 0-0 draw with Liverpool, a match which played out as expected between two struggling top teams, Chelsea will not be in action again till February 3, against London rivals Fulham, as reported by Radio Times.
