Chelsea's next transfer priority after Mudryk signing Revealed.
Chelsea are expected to make more signings in January after spending over £85m on the acquisition of Mykhailo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk.
As per Fabrizio Romano, the Blues will prioritize the signing of a new midfielder later this month.
He said: “The priority is a midfielder. The one they appreciate is Moises Caicedo, but there are many on the list. They are speaking with many players in general, it’s how they work.”
The Blues are likely to have to pay upwards of £60m if they want to sign Caicedo, with Brighton not eager to let go of their key midfielder midway through the season.
With key injuries in midfield and the likes of Jorginho as well as N’Golo Kante’s contracts expiring in the summer, Chelsea need fresh midfielders and can really benefit from the signing of a player like Caicedo.
