'He works hard': Xavi defends Ferran Torres after under-performing in win against Ceuta
"Ferran may not be scoring as much, but he works hard for the team," Xavi said when asked about Ferran Torres poor performance in the game.
Ferran struggled to find his rhythm in the game and was often dispossessed of the ball in the attack.
After 60 minutes Xavi had seen enough of Ferran and subbed him off for Ansu Fati. The 20-year-old immediately breathed life into Barca's attack and scored an individual goal 10 minutes after coming on.
"Ansu will start on Sunday, I had already agreed with him that he would come on for half an hour today," Xavi confirmed.
Barcelona beat Ceuta 5-0 to qualify for the Copa del Rey quarter-final.
