Hector Bellerin says goodbye to Barca teammates
Hector Bellerin has said his goodbye to his teammates at Barcelona as a deal is now being agreed upon with Sporting CP, per Javi Miguel of AS.
Bellerin did not train with the rest of the Barca squad today. Reports say the club allowed him to skip training to complete his move abroad.
The defender is the man chosen by Sporting to replace Pedro Porro whose deal to join Tottenham is all but signed.
Barcelona will receive €1m for the departure of Bellerin. Another €2m will hit Barca's accounts based on performance-related bonuses.
With Bellerin leaving before the end of his contract, Barcelona will save €250,000 from the wages.
Bellerin joined Barca for free last summer. However, he's not impressed at the club in his seven appearances. Thus, this move is a win-win for both player and club.
