James and Chilwell could be back vs Fulham, Sterling Resumes training: Chelsea injury round-up
There's at least one benefit of having a two-week break for Chelsea: their injury problems are beginning to ease.
Here's a round-up of all the players the Blues have been missing, with some of them well on their way to the comeback.
Reece James and Ben Chilwell. The dynamic duo is back in training after injury setbacks. There's hope that they could have a role to play in the next game against Fulham on February 3.
Raheem Sterling. The forward has just returned to the grass after a couple of weeks out of the squad.
N'Golo Kante. The fresh report claims that the midfielder is set to return to the pitch at the end of February.
Edouard Mendy. The goalkeeper underwent surgery on a fractured finger three weeks ago. He does not appear to be close to returning to the squad soon.
Wesley Fofana. The centre-back was injured in a friendly against Brentford on December 21. At the time, he was expected to return in less than a month, but that has not happened.
Christian Pulisic. The American picked up a rather serious knee injury in a defeat to Man City on January 5. He was expected to be sidelined for a couple of months.
Armando Broja. The only player on the list who is certain to miss the remainder of the campaign after injuring his ACL during the World Cup break.
Denis Zakaria. The midfielder was injured in a 2-1 defeat to Fulham two weeks ago. Graham Potter predicted that the player would be out for 'less than a month'.
