Speaking to German broadcaster Sport1, Gladbach Sporting Director Roland Virkus has confirmed that Marcus Thuram will leave the club in summer.
“We’ve decided to allow him to leave. We have to accept that in light of all the bigger clubs where he could make the move to", he admitted.
With the Frenchman's contract expiring in June, there are many clubs eager to land the 25-year-old talent on a free, including Barcelona.
Marcus' father, ex-Blaugrana Lilian Thuram, earlier stated that his son 'dreams of playing for Barca".
