Enzo Fernandez had to threaten Benfica before Chelsea's offer was accepted
As per Record Portugal, Enzo Fernandez was going to resort to openly criticising the Benfica organisation when his proposed move to Chelsea was close to being derailed.
According to their reports, negotiations between the two clubs had been extremely tense, with the representatives of the two parties nearly came to a 'physical confrontations'.
In the final few days of the January window, Chelsea's approach did not seem to do enough for Benfica to accept the deal.
Enzo reportedly threatened to record a video and release it on social media, accusing the Benfica organisation's structure.
Eventually the deal was confirmed and Enzo left Benfica for Chelsea for a fee of €121 million.
