'Everybody's entitled to their opinion': Potter hits back at Klopp and Guardiola for over Chelsea transfer remarks
During the Fulham game, Enzo Fernandez was welcomed to the Premier League by the 'What a waste of money' chants from the visiting fans, highlighting the pressure the £ 107 million Chelsea signing is under.
Even Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola have reacted to the Blues' transfer spending. However, Graham Potter has little time for that.
"It’s not just Enzo who will have to get used to it, it’s the whole team," the Chelsea manager told a press conference.
It’s normal because we’ve spent the money we’ve spent. The media aren’t going to let that go under the radar, so all of football will be singing that song, that’s for sure.
"Everybody's entitled to their opinion. It’s a free world, it’s free speech, which is good. [Guardiola and Klopp] are entitled to their opinion. I don’t worry too much about that. They’ve got their right to speak. And that’s fair enough."
