Graham Potter gives Chelsea players day off after Southampton defeat - fans react

 

According to journalist Adam Newson, a 1-0 defeat to Southampton has not changed Graham Potter's training plans for the next week.

A day off for the Chelsea players was scheduled due to the fact that they won't be playing until next Sunday.

Even though they lost to the side who were bottom of the league, the Blues are still not in training today.

It could be argued that the players need a mental break, as sports scientist Rajpal Brar argues.

For what it’s worth, the Chelsea players had a scheduled day off today given there is no midweek game to prepare for.

However, such arguments are unlikely to please fans who have already made up their minds about Potter.
