"It's my home...Where I have my memories": Messi reveals he will return to Barcelona
Messi has hinted during an interview, that he's going to move back to Barcelona once his player career is over, explaining that this is the city his family feels most comfortable in.
"I kept everything from the [World Cup] final: the boots, the T-shirts... Everything is there at the AFA [Argentina's Football Association] property. Now in March, I’m going to take everything to Barcelona, where I have my things and my memories... " Leo Messi has told Diario Ole.
As a reminder, the Argentine still hasn't extended his Paris Saint-Germain contract yet. He is currently free to discuss his future with other clubs.
Messi spent 17 years of accomplished career with Barcelona from 2004 to 2021 winning four UCL titles with Barcelona and scoring 474 goals in 520 appearances for the Spanish giants.
