La liga President Tebas claims "ONLY'' Real Madrid could sign 'Mbappe and Haaland' in Spain
La Liga president Tebas, latest statement claiming that only Madrid can sign Mbappe and Haaland should they decide to come to Spain could be seen as the president playing favoritism.
Tebas makes it clear that no 'levers' can help Barcelona land the two superstars. Real Madrid, however, will be able to do it if they wish.
Tebas Statement
"If Haaland and Mbappe ever came to Spain, only Real Madrid would be able to sign them," La Liga president Javier Tebas has told El Chiringuito.
Real Madrid do not rule out signing these football giants. There is a chance that the two attackers arrive in the summer of 2024 – possibly for a joint fee of around €300m (which no longer feels surreal after Chelsea's crazy winter campaign).
Mbappe has 25 goals and 6 assists in 26 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain this season; Haaland is having another sensational season with 31 goals and 3 assists in just 27 games for Manchester City.
