Madrid 5-3 Al- Hilal: Vini, Fede 10: Madrid player Ratings in Club World Cup final win

Real Madrid defeated Al-Hilal 5-3 to claim their fifth Club World Cup.

Valverde: 10/10. Hit the ten-goal mark with a deflected finish and scored a stunner after a smart exchange with Carvajal. Should have had a couple of assists, too, as he played some fantastic balls that Benzema unfortunately couldn't convert. Back into his old form.

Vinicius Jr.: 10. Showed composure to put the Whites ahead and fed Benzema with an outside-of-the-boot assist that belongs to a museum. Scored a beautiful goal after smartly stealing the ball off Ceballos inside the opposition's box.

Benzema: 9. Did extremely well to set up Vini for the second goal of the night and announced his return from injury with a goal in the second half. His finishing was a bit off in the first half though but we can't really complain about finishing in a game that ended 5-3.

Ceballos: 8. Makes a difference whenever he plays, provided an assist to Vinicius' second goal with a brilliant dribble inside the box.

Kroos: 8. Bossed the midfield for Madrid today with his GPS-tracked deliveries. Safe at the back as well.

Tchouameni: 7. Made several important interceptions, winning the ball back in the middle of the pitch. Left the pitch just after the hour mark after suffering a knock.

Carvajal: 6.5. Linked up extremely well with Valverde to set Fede up for Madrid's fourth goal. Still a bit rusty after the injury, misplaced too many easy passes.

Lunin: 6. Could have done better to save both Al-Hilal's goals — needs to work on his positioning.

Camavinga: 6. Two of Al-Hilal's goals came from Madrid's left side and it's not a coincidence. Camavinga is a midfielder, not a left-back, and his lack of positional sense in the full-back position was clear today.

Rudiger: 3. Kept Marega onside and it resulted in Al-Hilal's goal. Failed to track Vietto, allowing him to score the opposition's second. Was easily bypassed by Michael moments before Al-Hilal's third.

Others: Alaba, Nacho 6.5, Modric 7, Rodrygo, Asensio, Vallejo N/A.
