Marcus Rashford – 9
This man just can’t stop scoring! Started the game as a centre-forward and his smart movement allowed him to score a smart opener. Doubled United's lead with another well-taken goal, nutmegging the goalkeeper. Looked a threat every time he was around the final third and absolutely terrorized the Foxes.
David de Gea – 9
It’s safe to say that without De Gea’s heroics, United would not get such an easy win. He was there to save their blushes after a shaky start, making some world class saves in the first half. Laid the base for United to get the big win and grabbed a well deserved clean sheet.
Bruno Fernandes – 9
Fernandes appears to be getting better and better on this new right-wing role. He was almost always in the right positions and added incredible creative threat. Assisted Rashford’s first with an amazing trivela pass and laid the pass for Sancho’s goal. Created seven scoring chanced and probably deserve more assists.
Jadon Sancho – 8
Sancho came on for Garnacho in the second half and excelled in the no.10 role. Linked up really well with his teammates and added a lot more attacking third. Played a lovely one-two with Bruno for his goal and excited the Old Trafford crowd with his movement and link-up play. Should’ve had an assist after playing Weghorst through late on.
Marcel Sabitzer – 7
Sabitzer was full of energy and made a number of key challenges to stop Leicester’s flow through the middle. He made a few rash challenges, ,but was mostly superb with his defensive output. Made 11 possession recoveries, 3 clearances and own 4 ground duels!
Alejandro Garnacho – 4.5
Garnacho had a tough game against the Foxes. Struggled to create chances and was very sloppy with his output. Moreover, he didn’t provide defensive cover and left Shaw fuming. A learning experience for the youngster.
