Neymar stretchered off for PSG after picking up ankle injury - it really doesn't look good

 

Ex-Barcelona striker Neymar has been stretchered off after suffering a nasty-looking ankle injury during PSG's encounter with Lille.

The Brazilian started the game alongside Leo Messi and Kylian Mbappe, but lasted only 49 minutes after picking a suspected ankle injury following a collision with Lille's Benjamin Andre.

The 31-year-old awkwardly went over on his ankle and cut a hugely emotional figure as he laid on the ground.

He received urgent medical attention before being stretchered off the pitch.

Despite trailing Lille 2-3 by the 70th minute, PSG went on to win 4-3 on Leo Messi's free kick in extra time.
