'Proper hard man’: United fans give verdict on Sabitzer's debut

Marcel Sabitzer made his Man United debut in their 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.

He only played for the last 10 minutes or so, but put in an energetic performance to help the 10-man United side see off late pressure.

The majority of the supporters have been pleased with what they saw, as they reacted on Twitter.

Utdcynical: “Sabitzer was impressive in his cameo too. Should be in the pivot with Fred while Casemiro is suspended.”

Samuelluckhurst: “Thought Sabitzer was impressive in testing circumstances. Casemiro red card understandable but slow-motion replay made it look more aggressive. VAR looked at Ayew on Fred but didn't deem that a red card.”

SackOle: “Sabitzer debut was in the most intense 20 minutes in our entire season and he didn’t crack what a guy.”

Stretford Paddock: “Very good cameo from Sabitzer. Would've been very easy to get overwhelmed by the situation he was dropped in but didn't look phased. Looking forward to seeing more of him.”

Liam Canning: “Such a hard game to come into and make your debut, but thought Sabitzer made a really positive impact. Going to massively need him over the next three Premier League games!”

Kenna: “Sabitzer came in and IMMEDIATELY flew into tackles and started kicking people. I bet he uses Dangote cement to brush teeth proper hard man.”
