'They need to give him support': Man United superfan Mark Goldbridge urges Chelsea to stick with Graham Potter

 

Speaking on his YouTube show, Manchester United superfan and football personality Mark Goldbridge said: "I've heard it all already, 'Graham Potter out, taxi for Potter'. Do you know what I think? I don't think you can sack him.

"I really think it’s wrong to spend £200 million on Thomas Tuchel and then sack him two months later, and then spend £300 million with Potter and sack him one month later. That's not how you run a football club.

"I think that they need to give him the support and the backing. Chelsea are not going to get top four but the Champions League is still there. What have you got to lose seeing it through until the end of the season?

"I would actually say that Potter is more qualified for the job than Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ever was for Man United. He did win a lot of games at the start, but I just think that it's so easy in life and in football to just blame the manager."

Chelsea are calling for Potter to be sacked as soon as possible with the Blues hitting rock bottom at the weekend, losing 1–0 to Southampton at home.

Todd Boehly continues to back the manager even though Chelsea are not all but guaranteed for miss out on playing in the Champions League next season.
