Erik ten Hag pulled off the unthinkable by winning a trophy with Manchester United in his very first season.

After beating Newcastle United 2-0 in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley, Sir Alex Ferguson was waiting in the tunnel.

The legendary Scot had a huge smile on his face as he waited to congratulate Ten Hag for his heroics.

Sir Alex had the look of a proud father as he clapped for the winning team before hugging Erik and sharing a few words.
