Xavi: 'We played against a top team in Europe. Manchester is coming back'

 

"We played today against a top team in Europe," said Barcelona boss Xavi in his post-match interview.

"I think Manchester [United] is coming back, today they showed their best version.

"I said to [Erik] ten Hag, congratulations you are doing very well. This is Manchester United."

Indeed, this is Manchester United! The Red Devils showed no mercy and dominated large periods of the game in front of a stunned Camp Nou crowd.

We should have scored at least another one from our many chances but now we have a chance to get that big win in front of the Old Trafford faithful.

With the 2-2 draw, both sides will get a fresh start during the return leg of the Europa League knockout round next week.
