Accompanied by a picture of his Arsenal teammates lining up before their Europa League exit, Jorginho wrote on Instagram: “We win together, we lose together and it’s time to stick together.
“Because we have to move forward, we have 11 finals to play and everyone have to look in the same direction. Thank you for the support.”
Jorginho started twice against Sporting, with both legs ending in draws in normal time.
After a 3-3 aggregate score, Arsenal were eventually knocked out on penalties falling to a 5-3 loss in the shoot-out. Sporting will face Juventus in the quarter-finals.
Arsenal return to action on Sunday against Crystal Palace before the International break.
