Arsenal face Chelsea competition to sign Brighton star in summer window

Arsenal are really interested in signing Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Alexis Mac Allister in the summer, claims TYC Sports’ Gaston Edu.

The Gunners are one of the major clubs vying for his acquisition, with the Argentine World Cup winner looking to leave the club after this season.

However, Chelsea are also in the race to sign and unite him with national teammate Enzo Fernandez.

Arsenal shares a good relationship with Brighton after signing Leandro Trossard in the January transfer window.

The 24-year-old midfielder has made 23 appearances for the Seagulls this season, scoring eight goals and providing an assist.
