Catalunya Radio report that Pedri will spend another three to four weeks on the sidelines after apparently suffering a relapse. The midfielder will thus miss the upcoming El Clasico against Real Madrid on April 5.
Pedri was originally expected to feature against Madrid on March 19 and had even returned to group training. However, he felt some discomfort during one of the sessions, confirming that he wasn't ready to play.
The youngster has been out with an injury since the match against Manchester United on February 16.
This season so far, Pedri has recorded 7 goals in 30 matches for Barcelona.
