Casemiro – 6

Possibly the only worth praising. He did make a slight mistake for the second goal, but looked confident and reassured apart from that – making 6 clearances, 2 interceptions and five possession recoveries.

Marcus Rashford – 5

Struggled to trouble Van Dijk or Konate – but he did get in between a few times. Missed a big chance in the first half and hit the post in the second half. Lacked the confidence he’s displayed in recent weeks with his finishing.

Antony – 3

Had a nice first half by dribbling past players with ease, but too sloppy with his final product. Checked out after the break, making mistakes, giving away the ball and almost getting himself sent off. Frustrating to watch like many.

Diogo Dalot – 1

The only good thing he did in the attack was send in a brilliant cross int eh second half that should’ve been converted. Defensively shaky all game long and allowed his right side to be penetrated too easily. Robertson and Gakpo embarrassed him.

Luke Shaw – 1

Like Dalot, Shaw also had a relatively decent first half and kept Salah quiet. But completely lost all composure in second half – with many of the gaols coming through hhis side. Some real donkey defending for the final goal too.

David De Gea – 1

You can forgive him for the first, which was none of his fault, but De Gea was awful in conceding some of the others too. Especially shocking for Gakpo’s second and Firmino’s goals. Did not play like a player to have played for United for over a decade.

Bruno Fernandes – 0

The only decent thing he did was a left-footed pass to send Antony through on one occasion in first half. Shambolic performance, more so considering he’s the captain. He just complained, missed big chances and checked out after things started to go wrong – which is exactly the opposite of what a United captain should do. He should be ashamed of himself today, like most of his teammates.
