Bukayo Saka is the 'best player in the world right now besides Lionel Messi'
Arsenal star Bukayo Saka is the best player in the world along with Lionel Messi, sensationally claims Tony Adams.
Saka has starred for Arsenal this season, scoring 12 goals and grabbing 10 assists in the Premier League as his side sit at the top of the league.
He's the first player to reach 10+ goals and assists in England's top flight this term as he enjoys a stunning individual campaign.
And he continued his goal-scoring ways on the international stage, scoring a sublime goal in England's 2-0 win over Ukraine last Sunday.
Saka's brilliant form has Gunners legend Adam comparing him to Paris Saint-Germain superstar Messi.
He believes the 21-year-old is the best player in world football besides the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner.
"If there’s a better player in world football at the moment, someone who both scores and makes goals, the only one I can think of is Lionel Messi," the 56-year-old wrote in his column for The Sun.
"Bukayo is absolutely on fire and the reason Arsenal are top of the table."
Adams continued by referencing Manchester City's Erling Haaland and Manchester United's Marcus Rashford, insisting Saka has been the best player in the league.
"Erling Haaland might be scoring hundreds of goals for Manchester City and Marcus Rashford is also having a phenomenal season for United," he added.
"But Bukayo is, hands down, the Footballer of the Year because he was England’s best player at the World Cup and he’s been the best player for the team eight points clear at the top of the Premier League."
Having bagged 11 league goals last season, Saka is enjoying the best season of his budding career as he looks to guide Arsenal to their first league title since 2004.
