Erling Haaland scores FIVE goals against RB Leipzig, denied double hat-trick

Erling Haaland scored an incredible FIVE goals against RB Leipzig before being taken off by Pep Guardiola.

Haaland bagged a first-half hat-trick, then scored his fourth and fifth goal of the night in the second-half.

He opened the scoring from the spot following a controversial VAR review. He netted his side's second moments later after he headed home.

The Norwegian completed his hat-trick just before the break after he bundled the ball over the line.

In the second-half, he scored two goals in the space of four minutes to bring up his fifth goal of the night.

But he was denied a double hat-trick as Guardiola took him off for Julian Alvarez in the 64th minute.

Man City fans online couldn't believe the Spaniard's decision to take off Haaland, who could've become the first player to have scored a double hat-trick in the Champions League.

One Twitter user wrote: "My dude Pep. Why?"

A second tweeted: "L for taking of Wrling Haaland."

A third added: "He would’ve scored 7 and you can’t convince me otherwise."

A fourth joked: "This is the only way you can stop him from scoring."

Another commented: "Now all of the sudden pep makes changes like there is no tomorrow. Erling could have scored 2-3 more."
