'I don't know what I was thinking': Havertz reacts to his penalty miss before scoring winner vs Dortmund

"I don't know what I was thinking [when it hit the post] but the referee let me retake the penalty," Kai Havertz told BT Sports

"I was a bit nervous but I scored. I tried to wait and look at the keeper and the second one was a bit easier.

"The last two weeks were hard, we lost a lot of games.

"Tonight was important this is a big tournament and it's the last trophy that we can win.

"We showed character and that we want to keep going," the striker added.

Kai's stats against Dortmund make for good reading: 100% dribbles completed, 100% tackles won, 51 touches, 7 duels won, 7x possession won, 5 shots, 2 chances created and 1 goal scored.

The German certainly turned up against Dortmund as he often does for Chelsea on big occasions.

Up next for the Blues after reaching the quarter-final is a Premier League clash against Leicester City.
