Odegaard was anonymous in the first half and had no real impact. However, he stepped up in the second and ultimately registered a goal.

Saka was the target of Everton players in the early stages. Like he has done most times this season, he took advantage when the opportunity came in the first half to score an important goal.

Olexandr Zinchenko - 9

Zinchenko showed his class again. The Ukrainian created one goal. But overall, he was the liverwire of the team and almost everything positive came through him.

Gabriel Martinelli - 9

Another impressive showing by the Brazilian. Martinelli has rediscovered himself after some poor games, scoring twice tonight. He now has four in his last four.

Leandro Trossard - 8

Trossard did his job brilliantly today. As a false-nine, he gave his team several options and showed to be dynamic on the ball. He grabbed another assist.

Gabriel - 8

Gabriel's first half block was crucial. With the game still goalless, the Brazilian stopped Everton from a clear opportunity at goal. He was influential the entire game.

Thomas Partey - 8

Partey replaced Jorginho in the second half and demonstrated his importance to the team.
