OFFICIAL: Vinicius Jr named as Real Madrid's Player of the Month for February heroics

Real Madrid have announced that Vinicius Jr has won their Player of the Month award for February.

The Brazilian winger beat out competition from the likes of Karim Benzema, Fede Valverde, and Marco Asensio for the award.

Vinicius was involved in seven games across all competitions for Madrid in February, in which he scored six goals and provided three assists.

That included a brace and assist in the thrilling 5-2 win over Liverpool in the Champions League.

He was also prolific in Madrid’s FIFA Club World Cup campaign, scoring three goals and providing an assist in two games.
