Ten Hag: We have shown in the past we can bounce back from such defeats

Speaking about if Man United can get back on track after the shocking loss to Liverpool, Erik ten Hag told BBC MOTD: “We didn't track back and it was really unprofessional. We have seen in the past we can bounce back (from such losses).

“After Brentford, after Manchester City. This is definitely a strong setback and is unacceptable. I'm really disappointed and angry about it.

“It is a reality check. We have to take this strong.”

Ten Hag is trying to stay a bit positive, but he knows that it’ll take something big for him to get United back firing on all cylinders after this depressing loss.

He’ll aim to ensure that this is their final such defeat of the season and that the players can end the season strongly.
