'They're top for a reason': Everton manager Dyche humbled by Arsenal defeat

Reacting to Everton's 4-0 defeat at Arsenal, Sean Dyche said: “They are top of the Premier League for a reason. They’re not at the top by default…they’re a top side.”

“We beat them [Arsenal] a couple of weeks ago and we came here to beat them - but to come in 2-0 down after a super 40 minutes [was frustrating]…”

Everton defeated the Gunners 1-0 in Dyche's first game in charge. But on Wednesday, Arsenal were simply too strong for their visitors.

The Gunners, who are now five points clear of Man City host Bournemouth, on Saturday.
