Bukayo Saka takes time to FaceTime Kim Kardashian’s son Saint and his mates

Bukayo Saka decided to FaceTime Kim Kardashian’s son and his group of friends after Arsenal's penalty shoot-out defeat to Sporting CP.

Kardashian, the American reality star with 348 million followers on Instagram [not bad ey], made a surprise appearance at the Emirates on Thursday night with her seven-year-old son, Saint.

She watched from the stands as Mikel Arteta's side were knocked out of the Europa League at the round of 16 stage on spot-kicks after a thoroughly entertaining 3-3 aggregate draw.

And during the tense shoot-out, Kardashian showed her support for England international Bukayo Saka, cheering his well-taken effort that beat Sporting goalkeeper Antonio Adan.

Arsenal crashed out of the competition but Kardashian's son, Saint, seemed to enjoy what will no doubt be a core memory for the youngster.

In fact, on Friday afternoon, things got even more special for the seven-year-old when Saka called him on FaceTime.

"Sorry I missed you guys yesterday," he said. "They said you were at the players lounge. I had a shirt for you!"

One of Saint's friends then said they would come back IF they win the Premier League – a statement that was hilariously corrected by those in the room. "No, when!" they laughed.

One fan commented on the clip, saying: "Loved the emphasis on the "when" part from everyone including Starboy. Bring it home for us God's child."

Another wrote: "I swear to god if Saka has a terrible game against Palace," while a third added: "Saka has gone clear."

On the subject of celebrities getting involved in the world of football, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola recently admitted he was devastated when his "idol" Julia Roberts went to Old Trafford instead of the Etihad in 2016.

"I have three idols in my life. Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, and Julia Roberts. These are my three idols," he said.

"Julia Roberts years ago came to Manchester - not in the 90s when Sir Alex (Ferguson) was winning titles and titles and titles. She came in the period where we were better than United, in these four or five years, right?

"And she went to visit Man United. She didn't come to see us. That's why even if I win the Champions League it will not compare to the fact that Julia Roberts came to Manchester and didn't come to see us."
