'Why consider someone who failed at United’: Chelsea fans have mixed reactions on links to Andreas Pereira transfer

Chelsea are reportedly eyeing a potential move to sign Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira in the summer.

The Blues consider him a suitable replacement for Mason Mount, who might leave the club in the summer.

Chelsea fans have had very mixed reactions to this news, and here’s how the majority reacted.

Bethel Igbelina: “They should bring in Pereira if Mount leaves and for christ sake the guy's mind is not focused on Chelsea anymore his mind is quite gone elsewhere so I would prefer letting him go and getting a Brazilian replacement like Pereira he’s got pace technical in pass and finishing we need a Brazilian in Chelsea dats how I see it.”

Chernor Sununu Jalloh: “We already have Santos give him playing time.”

Gabriel: “I don't think we need mason mount replacement because we already have players that can replace him. e.g: Andrey Santos, Conor Gallagher etc.”

AdamCS: “Obviously we don’t know the full details regarding the contract stand-off, and Mount was physically and mentally exhausted after the World Cup. That said his behaviour on and off the pitch really looks like he’s checked out from Chels. Pereira is a quality player. But definitely we need to give Santos a chance in the team next season. Would Pereira be happy as a squad player? If so then could make sense.”
