Roy Keane pulled no punches as he branded Andy Robertson a 'big baby' after the Liverpool star claimed he was elbowed in the face by the linesman.
The Anfield clash between Liverpool and Arsenal descended into chaos after match referee Paul Tierney blew for half-time.
A video shows linesman Constantine Hatzidakis sensationally striking Robertson with his elbow as the Scotland defender remonstrated about a decision during the first half.
As Sky Sports aired the footage of the linesman and Robertson clashing, Keane, who's in the studio, savagely took aim at the left-back.
"Andy Robertson is a big baby. He should concentrate on his defending," he said.
The former Manchester United captain also slammed Robertson's defensive colleagues for their first-half showing against the Premier League leaders.
He exclaimed: "Liverpool's defending, it's like a pub team. It's all over the place, they're a mess!"
The criticism comes after the Reds imploded in the first 30 minutes of their league fixture.
The visitors took just eight minute to open the scoring as Gabriel Martinelli ran through on goal to poke home, with Virgil van Dijk coming under fire by fans.
Gabriel Jesus doubled his side's lead as the Brazilian forward took advantage of yet another poor defensive moment from the hosts.
Mohamed Salah pulled one back before the break, then missed a penalty in the second-half.
