'They haven't been better than us': Ancelotti's pep talk to Madrid players before El Clasico masterclass

Carlo Ancelotti inspired his Real Madrid stars with a brilliant pep talk before the 4-0 win over Barcelona, claims March.

He said: “They haven’t been better than us, neither in the first leg of the Cup at the Bernabeu nor in the League at the Camp Nou. We didn’t deserve to lose and we’re going to prove it and don’t forget that it’s a final.”

Ancelotti’s comments definitely ended up motivating the players just as he aimed to, with Madrid producing a clinical performance and blowing over Barca in their own yard.

They will now fight for the Copa Del Rey title against Osasuna on May 6.
