Cristiano Ronaldo in disbelief as he face going his second season without a trophy after surprise cup elimination

It was clear that Cristiano Ronaldo was extremely disappointed when Al-Nassr suffered a 1-0 defeat to Al-Wehda in the King Cup semi-finals.

Even though Al-Wehda was reduced to 10 men early in the second half, it was Jean-David Beauguel's goal that ultimately made the difference.

In the final moments of the game, Ronaldo was desperately close to equalizing and pushing the game into extra time, but unfortunately his shot hit the crossbar.

Following the match, Ronaldo was seen on his knees, clearly devastated that his team had been defeated.

Al-Nassr has had a string of losses since Ronaldo joined the Saudi Arabian team, including defeat in the Riyadh Super Cup and the Saudi Super Cup, as well as falling to second place in the league.

Even though Ronaldo has 11 goals in 11 league matches since joining Al-Nassr, he has been unable to score in the last three consecutive games.

It has been two years since the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has won a trophy, with his last victory being in 2021 with Juventus.

Despite being eliminated from the King Cup, Al-Nassr still has a chance to win the league title.

On the international front, Ronaldo is still performing well for Portugal, having scored four goals during the last international break.
