Watch: 15-Year-Old Lamine Yamal Impresses with Stunning Pass on Barcelona Debut Against Betis

With his debut for Barcelona in a win against 10-man Real Betis, 15-year-old Lamine Yamal made everyone feel old as the team extended their lead at the top of La Liga by 11 points.

The Blaugrana bounced back from a shock defeat to Rayo Vallecano by beating Real Betis 4-0 courtesy of goals from Andreas Christensen, Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha and an own goal from Guido Rodriguez.

Xavi Hernandez successfully introduced Yamal onto the pitch, as he is recognized as one of the most promising talents within the club.

Despite his age, Yamal is already playing for Barca's Under 19 side, the Juvenil A, surpassing the expectations of his age category. Additionally, Yamal is a youth international for Spain.

Yamal has been on the verge of being promoted to the first-team, with Xavi reportedly showing great admiration for the winger. He has trained with the senior players and was even included in the matchday squad for the match against Atletico Madrid.

Born in 2007, the young talent made history at the Nou Camp on Saturday night by becoming the youngest player ever to represent the club. He achieved this feat when he came on as a substitute for another rising star, Gavi.

During his debut, Yamal wore the No. 41 shirt and appeared to be comfortable on the pitch right from the start.

He almost made a remarkable assist, showcasing his talent. Using his exceptional left foot, Yamal made a superb defence-splitting pass, which could have resulted in a fifth goal for the team had Ousmane Dembele made a better touch.

Yamal, who is currently very young, has yet to sign a professional contract with Barca. However, he will become eligible to sign one in July when he turns 16.

Yamal has been with the Catalan club since the age of seven and was previously represented by Ivan de la Pena, a former midfielder for Barca and Espanyol.

However, his representation has now been taken over by superagent Jorge Mendes, who is assisting him in his efforts to succeed at Barca.
